Feeling Fat

Hello peeps. I feel fat.

I am having my exams now. It is exam period. It is eating period.
When I am bored reading my books and notes, I eat and I munch and munch and munch.
When I munch and munch and munch so much, I will soon become like....

*****THIS*****

I am having six papers this semester. One down, five more to go.
I am having one paper tomorrow afternoon. As of now, I am cramping the whole thing learned for the whole semester into this tiny brain of mine in one night. Thanks to myself for the eleventh hour study.

Good luck to you all (and myself) who needs all the luck WE can get in your studying.
All the best in your examinations.

Sussheee DayS

"Hi. I am Brenda. I am addicted to salmon."

I am a slave for salmon. I love SALMON. I am crazily in love with salmon. Exaggerate la pula itu. Heheh... Once, I was called Princess Salmon by somebody. My slavery towards salmon was proven this week. I went for the Sushi King RM2 Bonanza three times in a week. The promotion by Sushi King is open to their members where it is only RM2 for every plate of rice based sushees served on the belt. Out of the four days promotion (12-15th October 2009), I had three days of susheees especially salmon susheees at Alamanda Putrajaya's Sushi King outlet. You heard me right. Three rounds of susheees. Three days of sushees for breakfast+lunch+dinner. *BEAMING SMILE*

Remember I mentioned in my previous post about the Sushi King membership card?? I managed to borrow one card from a friend. I asked her to join us (susheee kaki-s which you will see their faces in the pictures below) when I didn't even have any card with me yet. Heheheee... Indeed it was lucky that she has the membership card and she generously lent it to us. Thanks Steph =)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
First Round === > 12th October 2009 :: Monday ::
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
These are the sushee kaki-s I mentioned earlier. These are the people who goes for the sushee bonanza with me every semester. FYI, Sushi King has the promotion every month of April and October. These are the people who make a lot of noises looking at SALMON, UNAGI, PRAWN, BABY OCTOPUS, SCALLOP, JELLYFISH ETC. ETC. ETC. except Connie de Tuna.

Connie de Tuna doesn't like many of her other sea creature friends there on the belt. Connie de Tuna doesn't like seaweed. Connie de Tuna is not a big fan like the other <(^(oo)^)> sea creatures sitting on the bench yang hentam everything on the belt. Connie de Tuna likes prawns. Connie de Tuna had lots of prawns that day. All her other other <(^(oo)^)> sea creatures friends are happy she was full that day eventhough she was not a big fan of sushees.
Quote of the day: "Jangan fikir banyak. Makan saja."

Sadly, other sushee kaki-s can't join us due to work in uni - Christine and Eileen. Other kaki-s are working already, busy doing accounts or teaching students how to write essays or goyang kaki menikmati kehidupan - Sophia and Bridget and James. We missed you guys when we saw the sushees on the belt. I missed James the most when I was so damn full and yet I still wanted more - James will take the rice and I can have the salmon if he was there. Wuwuwu.... I know I am a <(^(oo)^)> heheee... weeeeeeeeeeeeeee~~~

Pic 1: Connie, Gnet, Brenda. Pic 2: Steph, Joyce.

These are my salmons for the first round. The first plate of sushees on the tables are salmon sushees =)

After long hours of waiting for the baby octopus sushees to be served on the belt, they went crazy. Pictures say it all =) They wanted to attract attention of the chef by having Joyce diggin g Steph's nose with a pair of chopstick. Joyce even said the name of the sushee aloud to hint tell the chef on duty.

Attempts failed miserably. Baby octopus sushees still didn't come out. This is the plate of baby octopus which Steph craved so much after long hours of waiting for the baby octopus sushee to be served on the plate. Normal price item. Demi puaskan nafsu, terpaksa bayar mahal sedikit.

These are the total plates of sushees all five of us had. They are nice colour coordinated thanks to Steph.
At the end of the meal, I bought myself a membership card for the upcoming bonanza (or this one itself =P). I had to pay RM20 for it but it comes along with a year 2010 calendar and two bottles of toothpick and chilli powder holder (i.dont.know.what.the.heck.do.i.need.that.for) plus meal vouchers worth of RM20 inside. I don't need to run around begging for the card anymore. People have to beg me instead. *EVIL LAUGH*

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Second Round === > 13th October 2009 :: Tuesday ::
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
This time, I went with my coursemates. Maths geeks are in da house again. Weeeeee~~ 11 of us went there for a meal right after class. I officiated my new card!!!!!

Sushee die hard fans

These are among the salmons I had that day. Smocked salmon and regular salmon. I am now a happy child. *Jumping up and down*
This is the deep fried scallop sushee that Connie de Tuna wanted to eat on the first round I went with the sea creatures. Sushi King people love me. They don't love Connie. HAHA!!! >.<

These are the faces of greedy people spotting for good stuff on the belt.
Sampai keluar lidah ok.

These are the total plates of sushees the 6 people on my table had. Please take note of the third line. PURPLE PLATES WON. When the waitress came to our table for bill. the first repond was ... "WAH! Banyaknya purple!!" **Purple colour plates worth most expensive ones. It is usually RM6 per plate.**

Now these are what I call paradise. When we are done eating, all the salmons and prawns came out. CIS CIS CIS!!!!!

Third Round === > 15th October 2009 :: Thursday ::
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the last one I had for this bonanza. I went with Gnet alone this time. Others were busy. Both of us went dating la hehehehe~~~ The chef pandai gives out the good stuff to us both before he served them on the belt. Pandai pula dia! =P

These are my salmon, my unagi, my baby octopus. Yup yup. That is the baby octopus sushee that Steph waited so long. Once again, I kena sayang by Sushi King people. They don't sayang Steph. EHEHE!!

Gnet is trying to resist the temptation of tuna sushee.
She failed. She took two plates of tuna sushees. We shall get her a box of canned tuna for the next birthday ok? Nasi and seaweed suruh dia beli sendiri.

My last plate of salmon sushee for that day.
These are the total plates of sushee we both had. Kiralah sendiri berapa yang dilahap oleh ini dua <(^(oo)^)> hehehe
First attempt to take self shot failed.
Second attempt can pass lah!
By the way, Gnet noticed something on the bill. It was written Sushi Kin and not Sushi King during my first round there. We all thought it was a mistake. Apparently not, it is correct pula. Go google yourself la if you want to know more.

Quote of the week: "... u and ur sushi ..." by Gnet and Bridget

The three days sums my craziness.
What say you?
What is your addiction? Chocolate?? *Wink*

Bonanza oh Bonanza

I was planning to go for Sushi King any time next week for it's RM2 Bonanza with fellow sushi lovers friends. It has been our semester-ly event and this chain shall not be broken. Read bout it here and here from Makcik Gnet.

This time, the bonanza starts from 12-15th October 2009. Initially, I was planning to purchase the membership card like what I did during my first year. For your information, the bonanza is only open to Sushi King members. Back then, the membership application is only open during the bonanza period. However, Sushi King recently changed the system which I only found out a few minutes ago. Membership application is not allowed during bonanza period anymore. I heard about this from my friends before but I didn't clarify the information. My bad. As of now, today is the only chance for me to get the card. Hopefully they are not sold out. Or else, I don't get to enjoy my salmon this bonanza @_@.

I know I could borrow the card from friends. UNFORTUNATELY, NONE of my friends nor makcik-makcik's friends have the membership card. Makcik Bridget who usually gets the card for us has already graduated. Siapalah mau harap kali ini..."Oh, how we miss you oh Bridget at time like this? Come back and get us a card la...Heheheee...."

Does this mean that the chain will break this time? =( *fingers crossed*

IWANtMYSALMON.IWANtMYSALMON!!!<<--- Kononnya merajuk =P

UPDATED : Manage to borrow a card from Steph Kong liao. YYYiiiippeeee! Salmon oh salmon, here I come to you =D

First Class Flight with Malaysia Airlines

I traveled on a first class seat using MAS. Yes. You heard me right. I was indeed sitting on the capsule like seat where the price of the ticket usually ranges from RM30K to RM40K. As for me, I got it for FREE!!!!

I flew on the first class air ticket with my fellow coursemates last Wednesday (30th September 2009) and returned on the very same day. From Kajang to Kelana Jaya je =P

Hehe. Ok ok. I lied about the flying part. I don't have such amount of money la ok. For that price of ONE SEAT in a flight, I can buy so many things in my wishlist already. However, it was true that I sat the first class seat in the MAS airplane. If I am not mistaken, this is a Boeing 747 airplane. Not the real airplane though, mock one la. It was built to be exactly the same like the real one for training purpose. Yes yes. For visitors to camwhore too!!

This was an educational trip organized by Maths Club of School of Mathematical Science for the final year Mathematics students. 80 of us went in 2 buses to the MAS Academy located at Kelana Jaya. We went there with the intention of seeking future career opportunities in this industry. It was fun to see those things that they use to train the fellow air stewards/cabin crews. Too bad, we didn't get the chance to see any practical learning going on that time. Camwhoring session started when we entered the grooming room walled with mirrors. These mirrors were used for the grooming lessons. As for us, cameras and handphones started to click, click and click.

For the whole time there, we were explained on the processes one has to go through before he/she is officially a cabin crew. I tell you, it is not easy. The three months of training didn't sound easy from they way briefied us.

"MH is more than a code. MH is Malaysian Hospitality."

Memang they sangat anti 'them' yang pakai baju merah itu punya o. Balik-balik menyindir pasukan merah itu
. Hehe...~~ Example: "...that is why we use sarong. In case of emergency, we can just pull up the sarong and tie to act necessarily. Kalau skirt pendek dan ketat itu, kan susah..." Faham-faham jak la..... *wink wink* Brenda goes on any airline. Tidak cerewet punya. Janji sampai dan murah.

By the way, one significant lesson I learned there - always put on full attire whenever you travel so that you won't hurt yourself with burnts/cuts/scratches in case of emergency. To know more, tips of travelling, please read "Going Places" magazine that you find inside the pocket of the seats in front of you when you travel with Malaysia Airlines (that is what the staff/instructor there told us la...=P).

If you have not experience the services by Malaysian Airline crews yet, go book your ticket now. They are having promotion right now. Makcik-makcik Bridget, Gnet and Connie bought their MAS air tickets to KK for December holiday already. Your turn now. Go GO GO!!!
