Clinique Star Tour 2010

Some time ago back in mid July, three girls (Myself, Steph and Mei San) decided to go for something out of our daily norm - trying out for the CLEO Cover Girl Search organized by CLEO itself in partnership with Clinique. I personally didn't expect myself to be on the cover page but I was going after the free door gift that Clinique was giving away and personal potrait shot that I have always wanted. Vain, I know :P Since paying RM30 entitles me a close up shot and free gifts, apaaaaaa laggiiiii!! Weeeeeheeee.....

 The organizers are now picking the top three winners for the cover page out of the many many many girls who took part in search nationwide. Steph made it to the top 25 and I AM PROUD OF YOU!!! :D Told ya your picture was amazingly gorgeous :) :) :) I didn't like my picture though. Sob Sob. Oh well, it was still one great experience to be participating though... Heeeee :D

Dilemma of a Shopaholic

If you know me well enough, you would have known that I am a shopaholic. Shopping makes me happy. Shopping makes me happier IF ONLY I have all the money I need to buy all the things that I want. However, I always have trouble making up my mind over all the choices available. Dilemma. Always in dilemma.

Best example - clothes. I feel like grabbing all the colours that I like without having to CHOOSE ONLY ONE. OMG! Headache la like that....

Like recently, I was contemplating between the colours of the dress I was interested in one of the blogshop (Simpli-cious). FYI, I have addiction to online shopping as much as shopping offline (meaning in the malls la). Now, it is even harder to make decision buying things online since the real items are not there for you to see and I can't try them on. I can only rely on the pictures and imagine myself in it. Risky, I know. Siapalah suruh suka sangat shopping? So, I started to ask friends around and everyone gave me their opinions. Blue or grey? Grey or blue? Blue? Grey? Argghh.....

I ended up buying the blue one. Some think that I should have taken grey instead of blue. Too late! The dress is on the way already.

Today, I browsed around blogshops again and I instantly fell in love with another dress in Ladies Fashion. Here I go again. Contemplating is my number one game. Indecisiveness is contemplation's best friend. They always come in together. Red or turqoise? Turqoise or red?


I was so frustrated with my indecisiveness. I came up with an idea. I ended up doing something out of the ordinary instead of studying for my upcoming exam. This is the time to try out my photoshop skill. *Nod nod* I photoshop-ed myself into that dress - both colours. I did this very selamba only la - as long as I can see myself in those dresses enough la. By the way, the photo is taken during Steph's 21st Birthday Celebration which was September 2008.


Now, did that make my decision making easier? NOPE. I liked both =.=|| *sigh* However, it did help others to decide for me. I was told to get red one instead of turqoise. Majority voted for red anyway. Like it or not, I have to pick one. *sigh again*

So, which one would do you pick? What say you?

Makeover

Do you recognize this blondie?

In case you have not notice, this "orang putih sesat" is me!! =P
I have to admit I look weird in blonde hair. Cannot la this I bleach my hair this. Obviously, I have the typical Asian look, typical chinese look to be more specific. Indeed not many Asians can pull off blonde hair. So don't simply go 'blondified' your hair and attract unwanted attention ok.

Since I know I will definately look weird if I ever clorox-kan my black hair, I have to clorox-kan my black hair virtually. Look! I even changed my hairstyle!! Weeeee....

OK. Enough with the crap. My real intention is to see if I look bad in short hair since I have always wanted to cut them short since years ago. The thought of cutting hair recently surfaced back but as usual, I contemplate again. Truthfully, I don't have the guts to take the risk knowing that I will have to bear with the 'ugliness' if the haircut turns out to be sucky. So I decided to search for some nice hairstyle that I may be able to pull off. I came across a website which allows you to upload your photo and put on different hairstyle on yourself. I gave it a shot. Now, not only you are able to pick the hairstyle, you can even change the colour and length and shape of the selected hairstyle as you wish.

Here I go putting on my virtual wig with different shades of colour. I was a blonde, then I transformed into a brunette, then I had my black hair again... with the same hairstyle.

Which colour suits me the best? I will go dye my hair instantly =P Jk~~


These are some wigs that interested me. Some looked so funny that I was laughing to myself in my empty room. Check out the first one where I had Beyonce's hair.

Enough with the different shades. Lets stick to something similar to my current hair colour ok.

There is nothing extraordinary bout this once since I had similar cut before. I received good and bad comments then. Again, you be the judge.
So should I straighten my hair again?

If not, lets look at some other hairstyle.
Remember the time when Rihanna's haircut was so popular that you see everyone on the street have the same hairstyle? I thought of cutting my hair like that before but I figured it wouldn't complement my face shape that much. I decided to 'cut' my hair to that once-famous-hairstyle just now and this is how it turned out.
Lets get more serious now.
I wanted to have shoulder length hair. If I do cut my hair later, I will end up looking like these. Good or no good?

After playing around with the 'safe' hairstyle, I tried something more extreme. Something I would never consider having cuz I believe I can never pull them off. Sure nampak lebih gemuk punya. Somehow...when I put those hairstyle up already (especially the fourth one), I remembered back how I looked like when I was a little girl from the photo albums at home. When I was around 3 years old, I had this short boy-look-hairstyle. The second hairstyle reminds me on Dawn from Malaysian Dream Girl series. Masa itu, sudahlah rambutnya itu pendek, dipendekkan lagi rambutnya itu.
So, are these hairstyles considerable?

I tried all the options available there.
Bangs, short, straight, curly, wavy, party, wedding.
How can I miss out the men's hairstyle, right?
There was not many option of men's haircut available there but I was attracted to these two hairstyle.

Newbie Baby

Proudly presenting my new baby =D

I went to Midvalley yesterday and came back home with a big hole in the pocket phone. Being the indecisive me, I couldn't make up my mind after reading the reviews of so many type of different phone online. I have always wanted to change N70 to something more canggih but I didn't expect it to be any time soon. I was thinking of replacing/changing it, which means keeping the old one by not letting it fall into any shytez lubang tandas. Dilemma. I can't afford to get the one I really wanted since I am still a student and I don't get any sponsor from anyone for any phone I am buying. So, my purse was thick for 5 minutes before all the RM50 notes flew off within minutes later.

Hope I don't regret getting this one and let's pray it doesn't fall into anywhere ok? Not to the floor, not to any sink, not to any shytez toilet bowl anymore.

Deep S-H-Y-T-E

This is definitely not my day.

Having to get up in the morning to stand by the booth at Pusanika, I woke up in the morning with the intention of catching the 10am bus. After getting ready and all, I rushed down to the bus stop nearer to my block. As I was near the bus stop, the bus left right in front of my eyes. "It's OK. I'll just catch the next bus 10.30am bus then."

So, I was just sitting around the bus stop looking for car rental number Gnet wanted for this Sunday's outing. After looking up and down for 15 minutes, I decided that I should move to the main bus stop (up the hill) since I have lotsa time. On my way up, I stopped by the atm machine to withdraw some money. To my surprise, my atm card was missing. As far as I recalled, it was in the card holder along with my IC and student ID. @_@ I am in deep shyte. Went back to my room and checked all the possible places and end up with disappointing result. Again, I rushed down to the bus stop again for the second time to catch the bus with the hope I will find it in either one of the two booths.

Sadly, I still can't find my cards after searching both booth. I decided to go back to my room again to search for the missing cards, for the second time. Well, sometimes things appear in the same place that I searchED when I do it the second or third time or so forth. In my room, I was looking everywhere now. Found them in the end. Hidden in my roommate's pile of things that was messed up when the mattress in my room was changed, without anyone present in the room =.= Ok, enough bout that.

Was not feeling well for the rest of the day. Went for class as usual.

Just before dinner, I went to the toilet and accidently locked myself out of my room. Went to friend's room to get my key and she was not in. So, I went for dinner first with Conee and Gnet. After dinner, I spent some time in Conee's room before returning to my room. And before I went to my friend's room to get my room key, I went to the toilet first WITH MY PHONE IN MY POCKET.

Guess what? It SLIPPED OUT of my pocket and went ALL THE WAY DOWN the shytez and urine pipe. There goes my phone now. Once again, I am in deep shyte.

Like I said, this is SO-NOT-MY-DAY =(

Bite Your Shoe

I did a terribly big mistake today.

I had a crazy shopping day with Connie yesterday. It's Mega Sales =D I bought a few stuff including this brand new leather shoe from Hush Puppies. Hush Puppies says it is "one more reason to relax"...... NOT!!

You know how they say leather shoe will expand after a while? So, I bear with the pain during the first 15 minutes of walking to my 8am class this morning. After class, I really couldn't stand putting my feet back in anymore. Only then I realised I was 'bitten' by my brand new shoe. Damn! The worst part is I had use the shoe till the end of my schedules today. All I have in my mind was to have a pair of selipar falling down from the sky. Selipar buruk pun jadilah. Couldn't go back to the room to change my shoe since going back to the dorm consumes time and I had meeting pretty soon after class. After meeting ends, it was time for class. All I can think for the whole day was to spare my soul from this pain =X Steph came to rescue with her selipar tandas after class where we had dinner together at mamak. Arigato Steph =D Still, I have blisters and wounds now which also equals to pain, pain and pain. All because I took things for granted.

Most of my friends told me I should have gigit my kasut. Heard of this before but I have never done it. I usually lekat plaster when I put on new shoes. So, please teach me how do I do this.

Tell me. How exactly am I suppose bite my shoe? The front part? Or the back part? Or the heels? >.<>until berlubang so that your shoe won't 'bite' you. Show them who's the boss. Biarlah gigi patah ya!!~

New York, New York

Father's Day was last Sunday.

It was the same day that the four cousins (me and my brother and my cousin Anna and my cousin Tata) went 1 Borneo to spend the afternoon. I suddenly mengidam to visit that place, like pregnant symptom pula, haven't been there since the last time I came back last holiday during Chinese New Year.

It was a normal window shopping shopping day. I came back home with empty hands but stomach was filled up with a superb meal at New York New York before heading home.

After flipping the menu over and over again, all four of us decided to order A BURGER and SHARE among ourselves. L-O-V-I-N-G, don't you agree? =P

So while waiting for the food to arrive, the girls started to camwhore snap some photos.

Whops!! I didn't mention it was a giant burger, did i? Like what the menu mentioned, it was indeed super sinful. Yet, we couldn't wait to get our hands on it.

The taste was pretty good minus the oily+soggy french fries, nothing extraordinary except for the size of a quarter of the whole burger is bigger than the usual burger from McD/KFC/BK. I would say it's almost the same size with Carl's Junior burger. Price was RM40++ for the entire burger plus the french fries around it la.

I wouldn't mind going back there for another meal there with the same order if I had more than 4 person sharing the burger (5 or 6 would be nice). Or maybe I should try something else there? =D



Anyway, I received a gift from Anna on the way to the restaurant.
