Spectacles

This is my spectacles. I am short sighted.

Notice something about my spec? If you don't, let me show you.
.
.

.
.
.
.
.
.

See the area circled in red?
Yes. It is broken. Though it is only a small part of my spec, it bothers me a lot. I have to use contact lense to class everyday which is a hassle for me. Menyusahkan.
Before I notice it was broken, I actually thought it was drips of water on the glasses since I just washed my face then. I rubbed/cleaned my spec two times with the intention of drying out the water and yet the 'stain' was still there. Rupa-rupanya pecah pula cermin mata. I seriously don't recall accidently nor purposely 'torturing' my spec.

When did this happen, I do not know. How did this happen, I do not know.
One thing that I know is I am not having a very good week. One incident after another.
After spending so much on a new set of phone, I don't know if I should get a new pair of spectacles. Maybe I should just replace the lense.

Mr Bad Luck, give me a break!
No more unexpected and unnecessary spending please.

Money money, lai lai lai~
Bad luck bad luck, shoo shoo~

Welcome Back MSG

Monosodium glutamate, also known as sodium glutamate and MSG, is a sodium salt of the non-essential amino acid glutamic acid. It is used as a food additive and is commonly marketed as a flavour enhancer. It has the HS code 29224220 and the E number E621. Trade names of monosodium glutamate include Ajinomoto, Vetsin, and Accent. It was once predominantly made from wheat gluten, but is now mostly made from bacterial fermentation; it is acceptable for celiacs following a gluten-free diet.

So why am I talking bout MSG suddenly?
Well...

This is my first packet of instant noodles since uni life started this semester. I have been eating healthy food minus McD, Pizza and some other fast food once in a while =D for nearly a month now. Groceries including that I bought during the first week of the semester were not touched at all untill today which means I have been eating out all of the time, until today that is~~

I was a instant noodle junkie. MSG is addictive ya know.

It started during my matriculation days where instant noodles taste a lot better than the same old food that you get in Siswi Cafe or IJ Cafe in Labuan Matriculation College. Sometimes, I rather not eat anything at all. I still lotsa stock of instant noodles in my closet last time. Ask my ex-roommate if you happen to know them - Fara, A'a, Moreen. It was during this one whole year of hostel life that I started experimenting with different brand of instant noodles. Before this, the only brand of instant noodle that I know was Maggi like the other Malaysians who refers instant noodles as Maggi and chocolate drink as Milo and the list goes on. Nonetheless, I still have homecook meal every weekend...thanks to my Aunty Jane who stays in Labuan for the wonderful yummy vogok dishes.

I remember the days of my first year in UKM where instant noodles and I were best friends. Cafeteria here was the place I would visit regularly. Until today, I have not tried all the food they have there. It was also during the first year where I share my favourite 'snack' with my ex-roommate, Beckham. Mind you, I didn't stay with a guy ok. Beckham is the nickname everyone calls her. Anyway, I literally eat instant noodles every day, may it be a meal for break, lunch, dinner, supper or just snacks. However, there was an exception - I drink the soup and Beckham would eat the noodles. So, we share a packet or two of instant noodles together. Macam manalah boleh kenyang kalau macam itu. Silly~~hehehe. Those were the days. I have different roommate now with "many thanks" to the hostel adminstration here. I miss having her as my roommate. Unlike now.

By the way, I am adding more MSG into my body tonight. Me and the rest of the 9 santutz are planning to have pizza from Domino's cause Steph has discount coupons of validity till this Friday 31 July 09.

Welcome food.
Welcome cheese.
Welcome meat.
Welcome little-bit-of-vege.
Welcome mushroom.
Welcome fast food.
Welcome MSG.
Welcome fats.
Bye bye health.

Newbie Baby

Proudly presenting my new baby =D

I went to Midvalley yesterday and came back home with a big hole in the pocket phone. Being the indecisive me, I couldn't make up my mind after reading the reviews of so many type of different phone online. I have always wanted to change N70 to something more canggih but I didn't expect it to be any time soon. I was thinking of replacing/changing it, which means keeping the old one by not letting it fall into any shytez lubang tandas. Dilemma. I can't afford to get the one I really wanted since I am still a student and I don't get any sponsor from anyone for any phone I am buying. So, my purse was thick for 5 minutes before all the RM50 notes flew off within minutes later.

Nokia 5800 Express Music

Hope I don't regret getting this one and let's pray it doesn't fall into anywhere ok? Not to the floor, not to any sink, not to any shytez toilet bowl anymore.

Deep S-H-Y-T-E

This is definitely not my day.

Having to get up in the morning to stand by the booth at Pusanika, I woke up in the morning with the intention of catching the 10am bus. After getting ready and all, I rushed down to the bus stop nearer to my block. As I was near the bus stop, the bus left right in front of my eyes. "It's OK. I'll just catch the next bus 10.30am bus then."

So, I was just sitting around the bus stop looking for car rental number Gnet wanted for this Sunday's outing. After looking up and down for 15 minutes, I decided that I should move to the main bus stop (up the hill) since I have lotsa time. On my way up, I stopped by the atm machine to withdraw some money. To my surprise, my atm card was missing. As far as I recalled, it was in the card holder along with my IC and student ID. @_@ I am in deep shyte. Went back to my room and checked all the possible places and end up with disappointing result. Again, I rushed down to the bus stop again for the second time to catch the bus with the hope I will find it in either one of the two booths.

Sadly, I still can't find my cards after searching both booth. I decided to go back to my room again to search for the missing cards, for the second time. Well, sometimes things appear in the same place that I searchED when I do it the second or third time or so forth. In my room, I was looking everywhere now. Found them in the end. Hidden in my roommate's pile of things that was messed up when the mattress in my room was changed, without anyone present in the room =.= Ok, enough bout that.

Was not feeling well for the rest of the day. Went for class as usual.

Just before dinner, I went to the toilet and accidently locked myself out of my room. Went to friend's room to get my key and she was not in. So, I went for dinner first with Conee and Gnet. After dinner, I spent some time in Conee's room before returning to my room. And before I went to my friend's room to get my room key, I went to the toilet first WITH MY PHONE IN MY POCKET.

Guess what? It SLIPPED OUT of my pocket and went ALL THE WAY DOWN the shytez and urine pipe. There goes my phone now. Once again, I am in deep shyte.

Like I said, this is SO-NOT-MY-DAY =(

Sunshine

Made a wish, I can dream
I can be what I want to be
Not afraid to live my life
And fulfil my fantasies

I learnt a lot of tricks to help me live my life
You helped me find my paradise
When you came I saw

Sunshine through my window
That's what you are
My shining star
Sunshine
Making me feel like
I'm on top of the world
Telling me I'll go far

Reaching out, for the highs
You inspired me to try
I felt the magic inside
And I felt that I could fly
I'm looking at the world in an optimistic light
You made me appreciate my life
'Cos when you came you were my

Sunshine through my window
That's what you are
My shining star
Sunshine
Making me feel like
I'm on top of the world
Telling me I'll go far

You are the calm
I am the storm
You are the breeze that carries me on
When I said a truth
You wink at me
You're there for me

Sunshine (oh yeah)
That's what you are
My shining star
Sunshine
Making me feel I'm on top of the world
Telling me that I'll go far
Sunshine through my window
That's what you are
My shining star

(Sunshine) Making me feel I'm on top of the world
Telling me that I'll go far
Sunshine through my window
That's what you are
My shining star
Sunshine
Making me feel I'm on top of the world
Telling me that I'll go far
Sunshine
My star, my star..

Despite all the hard things in life, there are still people out there that never fails to make me smile. Sunshine that makes my day, gloomy days were brighten up.

*smiling*

Hard

It's so hard
when things do not go your way, isn't it?
It's so hard
when you know you want to quit but you can't do it, isn't it?
It's so hard
to get news of things you never once expect in your life, isn't it?
It's so hard
to pretend nothing happened when you know that thing affected you so much, isn't it?

Indeed they are all so hard for me.
Yet all I can do is stay strong.
I am still learning how to making them easy.

It has been 10 days since I came back to this student life. In merely 10 freagging days, so many things happened. Expected and unexpected.

Some wonderful things that happened made me happy to be here. Yet, some things that happened along the way affected me so much. All in all, I am just busy with my life managing studies and clubs.

These are all part of being a student.
These are all part of life.

Bite Your Shoe

I did a terribly big mistake today.

I had a crazy shopping day with Connie yesterday. It's Mega Sales =D I bought a few stuff including this brand new leather shoe from Hush Puppies. Hush Puppies says it is "one more reason to relax"...... NOT!!

You know how they say leather shoe will expand after a while? So, I bear with the pain during the first 15 minutes of walking to my 8am class this morning. After class, I really couldn't stand putting my feet back in anymore. Only then I realised I was 'bitten' by my brand new shoe. Damn! The worst part is I had use the shoe till the end of my schedules today. All I have in my mind was to have a pair of selipar falling down from the sky. Selipar buruk pun jadilah. Couldn't go back to the room to change my shoe since going back to the dorm consumes time and I had meeting pretty soon after class. After meeting ends, it was time for class. All I can think for the whole day was to spare my soul from this pain =X Steph came to rescue with her selipar tandas after class where we had dinner together at mamak. Arigato Steph =D Still, I have blisters and wounds now which also equals to pain, pain and pain. All because I took things for granted.

Most of my friends told me I should have gigit my kasut. Heard of this before but I have never done it. I usually lekat plaster when I put on new shoes. So, please teach me how do I do this.

Tell me. How exactly am I suppose bite my shoe? The front part? Or the back part? Or the heels? >.<>until berlubang so that your shoe won't 'bite' you. Show them who's the boss. Biarlah gigi patah ya!!~

UKM Here I Am

Plane took off at 7.25am, no delay (AirAsia hardly has delay nowadays I think). It was time for me to leave my home sweet home. My comfort zone. It has always been hard to start a new semester, and it's harder this semester for me. Things I am expecting could easily stress me out even before I am back in uni. Being in my final year and the commitment to two clubs in uni means I have to juggle with time properly and wisely which means less shopping and outings.

Here I am now in my hostel room. A little homesick...missing everything back at home especially mum, dad and bro. My bro bought me so many packet of nips that he told me to remember him whenever I eat them. How sweet =D LOL

To start off this semester, I had to unpack my stuff.

I had class not long after my arrival in my room then followed by meeting. After dinner and quick grocerries shopping done with Gnet and Steph, came back home and showered. Only then I have time to start arranging. By the time I was done with the necessary items, it was 1am. Off to bed though my books and notes are still in the boxes. There goes my first day of my new semester.

By the way, I got a new roommate. Heh~ My old roommate switched with this new one. I was pretty doubtful if I entered the right room when I saw those unfamiliar belongings laying in the room. The thought that came to me that time, "Maybe she just had a change of style since everything changed except for the same selipar tandas?" I was surprised when my new roommate entered while I was unpacking. I am wondering the reason behind the switching @_@ Ah well, hope it's better this time.

Eventually everything gets better when busy life starts kicking in with some stress tagging along the way. I am hoping that this semester will not be as hard as I thought it will be though I kinda doubt that will happen.

Reunion

High school seems like yesterday when four years passed since the last time we wore our school uniforms. Everyone went separate ways with the same aim of a promising future ahead.

Some things changed...

the face (cantik sudah atau bida sudah ehhe)
the body (kurus or gumuk sudah)
the clothes (ladylike sudah)
the topic of conversation (no more talking about the homework and mengumpat talking bout the same teachers cuz we still complain and mengumpat about our lecturers now)

Some things remained the same...

the gossips (updating each other with stories)
the hugs (our generousity of giving our hugs *trademark when meeting up*)
the burst of laughters
(cracking our jaws and have cramps on the cheeks)
the bond (friendship bonded over the years and still counting)
the teasings (ejekan which can go on forever and yet we don't take then seriously cuz we know we still love each other =D for good laughs bah)

With this

Some of the Franciscan of 2005 batch had a barbeque session at my place last Friday.
Food united us together =)

I was the kuli for the night. Burning Cooking the food, being the nice host =D
DD looks confused about dont-know-what over the food on the bbq pit (sakai kah?)
So DD decided to help me out - by staring at the food with dripping saliva.

Activities during bbq:
1. Eating
2. Drinking + promoting nescafe (cola jak tu)
3. Cam-whoring *cough*self taken pic with SLR*DD*cough*Left to right: Jen Li, Matilda, Cayc, Jennifer, CarrieGroup photo : Kim MAH, DD, Jen, Mat, Jen Li, Carrie, Cayc, Allison, Brenda CHONGDo you notice the similarities in these 2 pics?
4. Laughing
Halfway through the bbq session, the drivers were asked by dad to re-park their car dad wanted to go out. One of the driver was DD.
And as a responsible driver, she actually used signal lights to indicate where she was going to park inside my house. Tidak sempat ambil gambar though.
After filling up our perut lembu stomach with chicken wings, lamb, french fries, fried meehoon (thanks to DD), pasta(thanks to Kimmie), we cleaned up the crime scene and went to my room to chill - air cond was the attraction there.
Smiles in the room.

Laughing is our common hobby.Matilda was laughing so hard dat her face turned as red as the tomato. This is her attempt of avoiding the paparazi.I love how Cayc looks here and how she wants to take up all the space in the photo. And she wouldn't let go of my teddy bear =(Funny 'business' going in the room.
Me kutip haunting Jen Li for money =D Interesting angle though~Jen was upset cuz she had to pay up for 'protection' - kena buli by samseng.
After paying up, she became happy cuz the samseng didn't bother her anymore.
And me as the ketua Ah Long was happy with the money collection =)

After the money collection, the samseng-samseng sekalian are up to something.
Planning something big.
Look at the serious face. Up to something not good.
And here is what we came up with
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

KARAOKE
Dad bought this karaoke set from Philiphines called 'Magic Sing' that has songs built in and it evaluates your singing with scores. Check out our singers' scores. It seems that Kathleen and Kate are not the only singers in the class.

I am sorry but I forgot the songs they were singing.
It was time to stop after all the screaming singing mostly of the 90s songs if I am not mistaken. Our era bah that =P I would kept my whole kampung up if the session continues.

The noise of Franciscan girls + 3 microphones
=
KECOH
+ HURU HARA

Last agenda of the night was group photo - as usual.

It was nice catching up with you girls again. As time passes, hopefully there will be more meetings like this one...with more people of course!!~

All the best to everyone who is starting their new semester. For some of us, it will be our final year. OMG! I dread the coming semester. I really don't feel like going back. Damn~! To those who are still having your holiday, enjoy every bits of it to the MAX. You will never have too much holiday, will you? =)

The 'Ugly' Puppy

While Gnet iz was pimpin' her camera, I was pimpin' my bathroom.
I believe you are willing stay in my toilet for hours now =P~~

It was done yesterday. Now my bathroom is full of shitz heartz filled love. Ahakz~ By the way, as the picture below shows my toilet is pink though I am not pink colour no 1 fan - mum and dad handpicked the tiles for me cuz i was away when the house was built. Ah well, at least I have my own toilet though I have to jadi amah and clean my toilet myself.

So today was pretty much like the other ordinary day during the holiday. I woke up then clean up myself in my pretty toilet of mine before I stuck myself to the computer. After spending hours on the facebook some uni work, I paid a visit to my one month old puppies at the backyard.
Meet my fellow doggies at home.

Left to right: Xiao Hei, Amoi, Ayu, Cheetah

Count de puppies

Parents of the puppies: Ayu and Xiao Hei

So, did you spot the 'ugly' puppy?
Whopps~!
.
.
.
.
What I really meant was DIFFERENT.
That particular brown puppy was different from the rest of them.
I was wondering where did the brown colour come from. Mummy? Or Daddy?
So let me clarify ok?

'ugly' = different = odd

So please don't get me wrong with the title, alright?
By the way, the puppies were sucking feeding on their mother and I recorded them on action.

Just like the story in 'The Ugly Duckling', the brown one was the odd one among the siblings. Undeniably, all 7 of them are equally cute and adorable.
*grins*

Just look the puppy's eyes.
Won't you just melt like ice cream under the hot sun?

Later in the evening, me and bro went for some food in one of the restaurant in Dongonggon town for some food and drinks. I picked my cousin up who was working nearby and sent her home.

Teh C Special

Dumpling

Couldn't help messing with the baby my aunty was babysitting

I was distracted stunned for a minute when I was driving back home with the view from the side mirror of the car. The sunset was simply beautiful.

One word
MESMERIZING

the photo did not do much justice =(
So that was the end of today's daylight.

By the way, my days at home are numbered. Uni is starting.
*sigh*

P/S: I would like to dedicate this post to Gnet who LURVE doggies so much. Hope you enjoyed the waggly tails darling!
